It´s time to say good bye......

Friday, 22. Oktober, 2010:

This morning we have to get up very early.
Meg have to be at the airport at 7 o´clock, so we have to go from home at 6 o´clock.
He have fetched the grandmother for Miriam and Benjamin. They got up to say good bye to Meg.
Then we left Oma and the kids and went to the airport.
Everybody was quiet, tired and sad.

Farewell Party at school

Thursday, 21. October, 2010:

This is realy the last day. It will be reality now, that the end is not far off. :(
I think Meg have had lucky days here, but she will go home now.

Meg is in bed now. It´s the last night in Germany now for her.

My heart will be sad if i think for the farewell tomorrow.

BUT: we all have had a lucky time together.

Visit at the butcher, Chinese eating and ice skating

Wednesday, 20. October, 2010:

This morning the amerikan childs went to the butcher. There they have made her own sausages.
They have had fun there. Naturally could they  eat the sausages themselves.

For lunch we were at the chinese restaurant. There we had eaten from the buffet.

Meg showed Miriam and Benjamin how to eat with the chopsticks.

 

but it was to difficult, so they have spiked the food ;-).

After the lunch we were ice skating. At the beginning there were scarcely anybody other than us.

They had fun, but it was very cold there ;-).

Daimler Benz Museum in Stuttgart

Tuesday, 19. October, 2010:

This morning they have had to go to school with the german childs.
At 12 o´clock they have hat lunch at school. After this they went with the train
to Stuttgart. There they have visit the Daimler Benz Museum.
There you can see old and new cars. From the first motor till today.
We don´t have pretty fotos, because Jona have fotographed only cars and cars and cars...... ;-)

Trip to Tübingen

Monday, 18. October, 2010:

Today the american Exchange-Group were with the train in Tübingen.
They visit the town - have had a good lunch - and they were in a punt on the Neckar.
I think they have had a great day.

Weekend at Staufen/Grunern - Black Forrest

Friday 15.10. - Sunday 17.10.2010:

On Friday they were at school with the german childs.

After this, we packt our bagage for the weekend.

Then at the afternoon we drove to Staufen/Grundern. It´s in the south of Freiburg
in the Black Forrest.

There we stay in a house from a friend of us.

On Friday evening we have had mattresses on the foor and in front of the sofa

and there we made a movie-evening.



It´s movie time.





 





After breakfast we want to go to the mountains. But it rains very hard. We stillt get out to the "Bellchen". There we have had our first snow!There we went with the gondola cableway on the top.

It was very cold. But we have had a snowball fight. As we have had to cold, we went into the resaurant to warm up with a hot chocolate. Then we made a snowman.





Twins??? No - only a warm fleece.

 Then we were in a big supermarket in France!


We would like to go to a ruin in Staufen, but the way was to sludgy for Meg´s shoes.

On Sunday the weather was very cold and it rains the whole time. So we drove home.

Pumpkin exhibition at the ²Blühenden Barock² in Ludwigsburg

Thursday, 14. October, 2010:

Today everybody have to go to school. But the american childs only for 2 school-hours.

Then they are going (with the bus) again to the "Blühendes Barock" - it´s the castel-garden

from the castel in Ludwigsburg.

There they have every year in the autumn a pumpkin exhibition.
They are searching the biggest pumpkin and make with other pumpkins pretty things  (you see at the
pictures)
